• Do I need a visa to visit Vietnam?  

  A valid tourist visa is required for most travelers entering Vietnam, though passport holders from several eligible countries receive a visa exemption for short stays. You can also apply for an E-Visa, which is available to visitors from all over the world and has an extended duration of approximately 90 days.

• When is the best time to visit Vietnam?  

  Vietnam is a year-round destination. Generally, the best time to visit Vietnam is from November to March. This period offers less rainfall, sunny weather, and relatively comfortable temperatures. However, the weather varies slightly by region, so you can check the best time to visit Vietnam for traveling to the north, central, and the south.

• How many days do I need in Vietnam?  

  How long it takes for a Vietnam tour depends on the breadth and depth of your visit. About one week in Vietnam is suitable for first-time visitors to major attractions like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Halong Bay, and the Mekong Delta. If you want to explore more of Vietnam, such as charming Hoi An and Da Nang, the terraced rice fields of Sapa, and the Karst landscape of Ninh Binh, 10 days to 2 weeks would be better. • Can I combine my trip to Vietnam with another country?  

  Sure. For most of our clients, some would prefer to travel to Vietnam and Cambodia together, some would combine Vietnam and Thailand, or some would like to extend the Vietnam tour to Laos and more nearby countries. With our tailor-made service, it is easy to customize a multi-country tour.

• Will I be able to exchange dollars, euros, or other currencies during my tour in Vietnam?  

  Foreign exchange in Vietnam is very easy. Most currencies, including US dollars, euros, British pounds, and Australian dollars can be exchanged at banks, and ATMs are widely available in major cities. US dollars can also be exchanged at hotels, airports, and jewelry shops.

• What should I pack for my Vietnam trip?  

  What you need to pack includes travel documents (passport, flight tickets, travel insurance, etc.), suitable clothing based on the weather (don’t forget rain gear and sunglasses), electronics (power adapters, camera, power bank, etc.), and medications for diarrhea, colds, and pain relief. • Is it a common practice to give tips in Vietnam?  

  Tipping is not mandatory or customary in Vietnam, but it is always appreciated. For the people who provide good services to you, just leave a small tip to show your appreciation. If you are on a private Vietnam tour, suggested tips are USD 5-10 per traveler per day as tips for the guide, USD 3-6 per traveler per day as tips for the driver, and USD 1-2 as tips for the hotel and restaurant waitress.

• Is English widely spoken in Vietnam?  

  English is spoken in major cities, high-end restaurants, and hotels in tourist areas. • Can I take pictures of the people and streets during my tour?

• Is it safe to visit Vietnam?  

  Yes, Vietnam is a friendly and safe place to travel, keeping a very low crime rate in general, particularly against tourists. The most common issue you should be cautious of is pickpocketing when visiting crowded marketplaces or shopping areas, just as that happens in any other tourist destination.
