The highlight of the day follows - a cyclo ride through the busy and chaotic Old Quarter. You'll take around 1 hour to experience authentic Hanoi and traditional Vietnamese lifestyles. Be sure to try some street food and browse the unique handicrafts along the way.
Later, take a leisurely stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening, relax in the comfort of an air-conditioned theater nearby as you enjoy a traditional water puppet show, a storytelling performance combining music and movement that offers deeper insight into Vietnamese culture.

Travel to Halong Bay from Hanoi, and it will take about 2.5 hours by road. After boarding your cruise ship, a delicious lunch awaits as you set sail.
The afternoon is yours to explore, with a range of optional activities (kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, etc.) on offer. When the golden hour arrives, do not miss the breathtaking view of the bay, with the limestone peaks lit up in gold and orange. It makes a great lead-in to your evening, as you then sit down to a tasty dinner on board.
Tips: Since you'll be bringing all your luggage onboard today and packing it again to disembark tomorrow, it's a good idea to keep the items you'll need during the cruise readily accessible to save time repacking.
