Dubrovnik Adventure: Kayaking & Jeep Safari

Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival in Dubrovnik

  Upon your arrival in Dubrovnik, a transfer to your hotel will be arranged for you. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. A walk to the town and then enjoy a tasty meal for dinner at a local restaurant would be a nice idea.

• Day 2: Sea Kayaking along the Cove to the Betina Cave Beach

  After breakfast in the hotel, head to a cove towered by the mighty fortress of St. Lawrence, where kayaks await to take you on a truly exciting journey to experience the clear blue Adriatic Sea (join-in tour). Paddling with your tour leader, you will gain a slightly different perspective of Dubrovnik's impressive City Walls, hear more about the history of this city, and enjoy the beautiful landscape around.

  The small pebble beach of Betina cave, which is accessible only by boat, is the last stop of kayaking. Here you will have some free time to snorkel or have a snack before returning.

  The afternoon is free at leisure. It's time to explore this old town of Dubrovnik on your own.

• Day 3: Buggy Safari around the Srđ Plateau

  This morning, you will be escorted to meet your buggy guide in Srđ to enjoy a unique buggy safari (join-in tour). After a quick introduction to everything that you need to know, start your driving around the Srđ plateau, soaking in the natural beauty and expecting to encounter animals like cows and donkeys. With a location just behind the walled city of Dubrovnik at the height of 412 meters, the top of the Srđ hill is a nice place to shoot a panoramic view of the old town. Don't forget to take some great photos before getting back to the old town by cable car.

  The remainder of the time is up to you. You may want to spend a relaxing afternoon at a local seaside cafe and wait for the stunning sunset view.

• Day 4: Jeep Safari through the Oasis of Konavle

  Just half an hour south of the walled Dubrovnik, the picturesque oasis of Konavle village treasures and preserves its nature, rural lifestyles, and ancient traditions. Today you will explore this area on a jeep (join-in tour). The tour starts in the seaside town of Cavtat, which is the gateway to Konavle, passes through green fields, cool forests, and dreamy meadows, and then ends with the breathtaking vistas of the Adriatic Sea at Popovići. En route, take a break at the historic mills constructed over a cool river, and refresh with some tasty local treats.

• Day 5: Dubrovnik Departure

  Enjoy some leisure time after breakfast at the hotel. At the appointment time, a transfer will take you to the airport or bus station for departure.
