Itinerary
- Seoul
Your tour in Seoul begins with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest palace in South Korea. Although it has been reconstructed due to several historical invasions, the palace's restored areas, including its ornamental structures, serene gardens, and various museums, offer a glimpse into Korea's history from the 14th century. You may don a Hanbok - the traditional Korean attire - and immerse yourself in the solemn atmosphere of the guard-changing ceremony.
Nearby, Bukchon Hanok Village provides a window into traditional Korean lifestyles, while Insadong, known as Seoul's cultural and artistic hub, and Gwangjang Market, teemed with traditional Korean dishes and textiles, showcase the city's vibrant modern life. Be sure to taste the local cuisine and pick up some souvenirs.

Spend your day exploring the DMZ, located 62 km from downtown Seoul, an area of significant political importance to both sides of the 38th parallel. Today, rather than being a symbol of conflict, the DMZ represents a vision for peace. The excursion begins at the Freedom Bridge in Imjingak Park, which witnessed the liberation of prisoners in 1953. Then, explore the 3rd Tunnel and the DMZ Exhibition to gain deeper insights into the positions of both South and North Korea during the Korean War. Conclude with a visit to the Odusan Observatory for panoramic views of the DMZ area and the frontier towns in North Korea.
