About This Trip
This 14-day luxury vacation will take you to explore India from north to south. Visit the famous Golden Triangle to enjoy a rickshaw around the Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi, listen to the eternal love story behind the splendid Taj Mahal of Agra, and visit the no-public ceremonial and private quarters of the City Palace in Jaipur. Then, take your trip to Mumbai, where you can experience the highlights of this city, like the Victoria Terminus. Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Welcome to Delhi, the capital of incredible India!
Our representative will greet you with a warm smile and take care of you until you check into the Imperial New Delhi. Setting in the heart of the city, connected to a business district of Connaught Place, this historic luxury hotel will be a perfect base for your Delhi stay. Don't forget to spend some of your time poking around on each floor of the hotel, where British art in India from the 17th to 19th centuries is on display.

Day 2: Delhi, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk
Start your Indian exploration with a half-day Old Delhi tour. You will first be impressed by the Jama Masjid, beautiful Mughal architecture in red sandstone and white marble with two minarets at 40 meters high. Then, navigate the narrow and chaotic streets of the Chandni Chowk on a traditional rickshaw to get an insight into Indians' lives. Before returning to the hotel for a leisurely afternoon, you can get a general background on Gandhi at the Gandhi Smriti, where he spent the last few months till his assassination on 30th January 1948.

Day 3: Delhi, Qutub Minar & Laxmi Narayan Temple
Spend half a day marveling at the stunning architecture in New Delhi. Take in the monumental architecture such as the India Gate along wide boulevards pass you by. Alight and visit the UNESCO-listed Qutub Minar, an all-brick minaret towering along with beautiful inscriptions and geometric patterns. Later, you will get a basic knowledge of the Indian religion as you enjoy the artwork inside the colorful Hindu Temple of Laxmi Narayan.
The afternoon is yours to relax in the hotel or hang out inside the mall close to the hotel.

Day 4: Delhi - Agra
After a tasty breakfast, take a private drive to Agra.
Upon arrival, settle into the Oberoi Amarvilas, just 600 meters away from the world-famous Taj Mahal. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Within the room with a private balcony, you can even savor a candlelit dinner against the silhouette of the Taj Mahal.

Day 5: Agra, Taj Mahal & Kachpura Heritage Walking Tour
Rise early morning to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. Immerse yourself in the magic light play as the rising sun tints this ivory-white marble mausoleum into dreamy colors. Later, stroll around the complex and listen to your private guide sharing the eternal love story of the Mughal emperor and his favorite wife.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and refreshment. In the late afternoon, go out for a heritage walking tour in the rural village of Kachpura. The walk will take you to visit several monuments from the Mughal era, give you the chance to interact with locals, and end in Mehtab Bagh from where you will have the opportunity to watch the Taj Mahal during sunset.

Day 6: Agra - Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri
Check out of the hotel and drive about 40 km to visit Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of the Mughal Empire for a dozen years. Within the city, you will appreciate a series of well-preserved Mughal architecture whilst your knowledgeable tour guide explains the history behind them.
Later, move on to Jaipur and check into Rambagh Palace, the former residence of the Maharajah of Jaipur. You will get a royal experience here through its remaining lavishly decorated details, exquisite palatial suites, and exquisite Mughal gardens.

Day 7: Jaipur, Amber Fort & Nahargarh Fort
Ride a jeep up to the Amber Fort, a must-see in Jaipur nestling on a hilltop outside the city. Ramble around the fort with intricate architecture, paintings, and carvings, touching the fascinating history of the Rajput era and Jaipur royal family. Inside the fort, you can admire the Sheesh Mahal adorned with thousands of mirror tiles and colored glasses on the walls.
On the way back, make a photo stop at the Jal Mahal in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake and visit the Nahargarh Fort for a bird's eye view of Jaipur city.

Day 8: Jaipur, City Sightseeing & Bazaar Exploration
Another day in Jaipur will take you to explore the major attractions of this pink city. Follow your tour guide to learn about the various artifacts and items on display inside the City Palace of Jaipur. You can also enjoy a tour of the ceremonial rooms and private quarters that are usually off-limits to the public. Then, walk to the nearby Jantar Mantar for an educational tour of the ancient astronomical instruments. Make a coffee stopover at Tattoo Café in front of the Hawa Mahal.
After the sightseeing, spend some time winding through the maze-like streets of the bazaars. Get close to see craftsmen working on all sorts of forms of local art, especially in jewelry, textiles, and handicrafts.

Day 9: Jaipur - Mumbai
Enjoy some time until flying to Mumbai. Settle into the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, right near the Gateway of India overlooking the Arabian Sea. More than a century old, this iconic grand luxury hotel is revered for its architecture styles blend of Islamic and Renaissance. You can join in a heritage walk around the hotel led by a butler, making the history come alive. Then step inside the colonial-style restaurant for an elaborate afternoon tea.

Day 10: Mumbai, City Sightseeing
Unlike the cities in north India, Mumbai is flourished as a trading port and remains some of the grand colonial-era architecture. You will be guided to see the Gateway of India, an arch-monument in the combination of Indian and Islamic architectural styles; and the Victoria Terminus, a monument train station designed in the High Victorian Gothic style. The tour also includes a visit to the Dhobi Ghat open-air laundry and the Churchgate station for a glimpse of local people's daily life.

Day 11: Mumbai - Kochi
Fly to Kochi today. Upon arrival, check into Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty and take some rest.
In the afternoon, walk through the backstreets of Fort Cochin to savor some of the significant landmarks like the early eighteenth-century Dutch Cemetery, the supposed house of Vasco da Gama, and several traders' residences. Round off the day with a stunning sunset at the iconic Chinese fishing nets.

Day 12: Kochi - Alleppey
Head to Alleppey and board a traditional houseboat cruising along the backwaters of Kerala. Glide through canals and lagoons shaded by coconut palms and pass sleepy rural villages. Enjoy dinner of local specialties whilst watching the stunning sunset. Just sit back and relax!

Day 13: Alleppey
Disembark and settle into the Marari Beach - CGH Earth, a 5-star resort on the seaside. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure. You may lounge on the beach with glistening golden sands and swaying palm trees, or retreat yourself with a traditional Kerala massage inside the Ayurvedic center.

Day 14: Alleppey - Kochi, Departure
Time to say goodbye to India. If time permits, you can take a morning stroll with a naturalist to explore the Malabar coast's unique ecosystem before heading to the airport in Kochi.
