About This Trip
With this 9-day India tour, you will have the chance to explore the Indian colorful culture and rich history. Begin in Delhi, visit the well-known Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, etc. Fly to Udaipur for a relaxing boat ride on the tranquil Lake Pichola. Overlook the blue city from the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. Then you will admire the magnificent Amber Fort in the pink city of Jaipur and reach Agra to marvel at the famous Taj Mahal at sunrise.

Day 1: Arrival, Delhi
Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, be greeted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel where our representative will help you check in and brief you about the following tours. Have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone.

Day 2: Delhi
Start your exploration of India from the iconic Jama Masjid hidden in Old Delhi. It is the best mosque from the Mughal era with an open courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. Out of it is the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Hop on a rickshaw and navigate through the narrow lanes of the streets for a glimpse of local daily life.
Pay respect to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat and then continue to Qutub Minar, a soaring 12th-century tower with stone carvings of geometric patterns and Arabic scripts. Finish the day with an insight into the local religion at the colorful Laxmi Narayan Temple.

Day 3: Delhi - Udaipur
Have some time at leisure until flying to Udaipur. Magnificent temples, colorful bazaars, royal palaces, and picturesque lakes make it a wonderful place for a holiday in Rajasthan. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Day 4: Udaipur
You will wander through the bazaars to visit the Jagdish Temple featuring splendid carvings and murals. Step into the City Palace to explore the life of the royal family through its architecture and exhibitions. Towering on the banks of Pichola Lake, it also gives you the chance to overlook other historic monuments like the Lake Palace.
Unwind and relax on a 1-hour shared motorboat cruising on Lake Pichola, followed by a visit to the Garden of the Maids of Honour. Visit Folk Art Museum and then finish the day with an unforgettable sunset view at the Sajjan Garh Palace.

Day 5: Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur
Journey onward to Jodhpur, about 6 hours away. En route, stop to visit Ranakpur Jain Temple with an audio guide. It is no exaggeration to say that this architecture is a miracle, made entirely of marble with exquisite carvings. You will marvel at 1,444 marble pillars standing in the complex of 29 halls, each carved with a different design.

Day 6: Jodhpur - Jaipur
Spend the morning visiting the famous Mehrangarh Fort, a massive complex standing at the hillside with fantastic views of the blue city. Apart from the outstanding collection of the royal family and well-preserved heritage structure, the cultural performance that happens daily at various places inside the fort is another highlight. Not far away is the Jaswant Thada, a white marble mausoleum with intricate carvings. Later, stroll around local markets looking for some handicrafts as souvenirs.
In the afternoon, drive about 6 hours to Jaipur for the night.

Day 7: Jaipur
Get on a jeep ride up the hillside Amber Fort in the morning. Inside, with the help of your tour guide, you will wander around the highlights and understand the history behind the different sections of the palace. One of the must-sees is the Sheesh Mahal, where walls and ceilings are covered with millions of small mirrors.
Return to the downtown and visit the Hawa Mahal featuring 953 windows that cover the lace-like walls. Finish the day at the City Palace Museum and nearby Jantar Mantar.

Day 8: Jaipur - Agra
A 5-hour drive will take you to Agra, the home to the world-famous Taj Mahal. En route, make a photo stop at the fabulous Abhaneri Step Well, and then visit Fatehpur Sikri. A local guide waiting at the entrance of Fatehpur Sikri will lead you to stroll around this abandoned capital of the Mughal Empire in the 16th century and explain the story of Mughal history and architecture.

Day 9: Agra - Delhi, Departure
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise when the first lights of dawn gild the soft marble monument with pink color. Walk along the pathway beside the reflecting pool with fountains up to the mausoleum and listen to the eternal love story of an Emperor and his favorite wife. Return to the hotel for breakfast and then continue to visit Agra Fort. This massive fortress of red sandstone will tell you about the strength and splendor of the Mughal dynasty, which dominated India for over three centuries.
Later in the afternoon, go back to Delhi through a 4-hour drive. Say goodbye to India and board your home-bound flight with wonderful memories.
