Once you arrive at Bergen Airport, our English-speaking driver will give you a warm welcome while holding a sign bearing your name. Later, a smooth 20-minute drive will take you to the hotel in the heart of the city. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or stroll around the hotel.
Day 2: Bergen, Day at Leisure
Today is left for you to explore the city at your own pace.
We suggest discovering the allure of the city in the morning, hanging out at its vibrant Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, or taking the funicular up to Mount Floyen for sweeping views of the region. Optionally, take part in a guided food and culture walking tour in the afternoon to learn about its distinctive culinary traditions.
Day 3: Bergen - Flam
Absorb the essence of the Norwegian fjords today by train, bus, and boat.
Find your way to Bergen Central Station for the early Bergensbanen train to Voss. From here, hit the road by bus to Gudvangen, along the very steep Stahlheim Skreva Road with a total of 13 twists and turns. Later, embark on a 2-hour picturesque cruise to Flam. The landscape of the narrow Naroyfjord dotted with tumbling waterfalls and small farms will leave you speechless.
Arrive in Flam at around 2:00 pm and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Outdoor lovers may be fond of optional kayaking excursions to immerse themselves in the tranquil natural surroundings of Flam, while others may prefer to drive to the Stegastein Viewpoint for a different vantage point of the fjords. Please specify which one you want for your consultant.
Day 4: Flam - Oslo, The Flam Railway Experience
Hop on the famous Flam Railway to the Myrdal Station At around 8:50 am. This train ride will take you for about an hour as it climbs from two meters above sea level to Myrdal's 866 meters snow-capped peak, revealing the best features of the breathtaking beauty of Western Norway. you will then change to the Bergensbanen train and travel to Oslo while seeing the charming communities and natural beauty along the way.
When you arrive in Oslo at around 3:00 pm, go to the hotel by yourself and get some rest.
Day 5: Depart from Oslo to Reykjavik by Air
Prior to being picked up and driven to Oslo-Gardermoen Airport by your driver, take advantage of the morning at your leisure. Give Norway a kind farewell and fly to Iceland.
Touching down at Keflavik International Airport, a private transfer will escort you to the hotel in Reykjavik. If you wish, there are too many optional things to pick from to occupy the rest of the day, such as the Wonders of Iceland exhibition at Perlan, puffin watching, and helicopter sightseeing.
Day 6: The Famous Golden Circle
Visit Iceland's renowned Golden Circle, a must-see. Along the way, you will see the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, and the beautiful Gullfoss.
Discover the history of why it is thought to be the beginning of the Iceland Nation while hiking through the gorge where two tectonic plates meet. Admire the active geyser Strokkur in the Geysir sprouting every few minutes to 10-20 meters high, sometimes to a height of 40 meters. Get up close to the roar of the picturesque waterfall – Gullfoss – and feel the power as it cascades into the confined canyon.
Day 7: Adventure to the South Coast
Another day of Iceland will take you adventure to the South Coast, lined with countless natural wonders, including waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, and black sand beaches.
As you travel south on the No. 1 Ring Road, pause to take in the sights of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. You can also visit the neighboring Skogar Folk Museum, where admission is payable on-site, to learn more about how Icelanders lived in earlier centuries.
Further ahead at the village of Vik, wander along the black sand beaches deposited by volcanic ash after the eruption to view the huge columns of towering Reynisdrangar. Go back to Reykjavik for the night after a full day of sightseeing.
Day 8: Say Goodbye to Iceland
With a leisurely soak in the Blue Lagoon, your unforgettable Icelandic vacation comes to an end. Before boarding your journey home, take a dip in the warm mineral waters to coax tense muscles and spirit.
