Peruse its vast collection of artifacts, including impressive exhibits such as Queen Isetemkheb II's Tent of Purification, the chariot of Tohotmus IV, and the royal mummies, and indulge in the splendor of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Start your Cairo exploration from the Salah El Din Citadel, the power seat of Egyptian rulers for centuries. Get to know this massive fortification's history and admire the Muhammad Ali Mosque, where towering minarets, graceful domes, and intricate details form an architectural masterpiece. Continue to the Hanging Church and the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, two of the oldest Coptic churches in the country, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Later, soak up the enchanting vibe as you wander around Khan el Khalili Bazaar, a market where exotic spices such as cinnamon and black pepper pile high and traditional handicrafts burst with vibrant colors. You'll also attend a papyrus-making demonstration to learn about this time-honored craft.
