Day 1: Cairo, Arrival
Welcome to Egypt, the land of the pharaohs!
An airport representative will greet you with a smile after you land in Cairo and help you go through customs. Catch a first glimpse of this city as you sit back and relax in the private car taking you to your hotel. Check in, unpack your luggage, and the remainder of the day is at your disposal.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids & the Ancient City of Memphis
Discover the stories behind the Giza Pyramids, Egypt's most famous landmark. Relish in a stunning panorama of these engineering marvels from a distant viewpoint, let the insightful narrative of your guide bring Egypt's Old Kingdom back to life, and capture outstanding photos with the pyramids and the Sphinx as a backdrop. You can also enjoy a 30-minute camel ride here (at an extra cost).
Moving on, you'll reach Memphis, where the ruins of temples, halls, and statues stand as a testament to this ancient capital's past glory. Later, admire Saqqara's Step Pyramid, Egypt's oldest pyramid featuring six tiers of stone structure rising from the barren escarpment.

Day 3: Cairo City Tour With the Egyptian Museum
Kickstart your day at the Egyptian Museum, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East. Housed in a heritage building, it details ancient Egyptian culture, lifestyle, and religion through an enormous collection of antiques, with the statue of King Khafre and the Fayum mummy portraits amongst its most precious exhibits.
Move on to the Citadel of Salah El Din, where the Ottoman-style Muhammad Ali Mosque offers an impressive birds-eye view of the city. Soak up Khan el Khalili Bazaar's lively atmosphere as you wander around its maze-like lanes full of shops overflowing with exotic spices and traditional handicrafts. At the end of the day, you may want to explore this amazing city from a different angle by enjoying an optional 1-hour felucca ride on the Nile (at an additional cost).

Day 4: Faiyum Excursion incl. Wadi Al Hitan & Sandboarding
Discover Faiyum's lovely oasis and golden dunes on this day excursion! Leaving Cairo early, you'll reach Wadi El Rayan after around two hours, with a stop en route at Qarun Lake to admire its beauty. Take in the area's lush oasis, stunning waterfalls, and unique rock formations, and have a blast sandboarding down the dunes. Then, go on an exhilarating 4X4 jeep ride across the desert on your way to Wadi Al Hitan, the Valley of the Whales.
With prehistoric fossils of whales, sharks, and other marine species scattered across the barren desert, Wadi Al Hitan is an archaeologist's paradise. Visit the Wadi Al Hitan Museum to gain an insight into the marine species' remarkable evolution through the ages, and indulge in incredible views of the desert.
