Your 10-day exploration of China begins in its capital, Beijing. Upon arrival, you'll make your own way to the hotel, where you can rest and adjust to the time zone or take a stroll around the neighborhood at your leisure.

A fulfilling day begins at Tiananmen Square, exploring the surrounding architectural complex. From here, step into the Forbidden City, once the residence of Ming and Qing emperors. Stroll along red walls and golden roofs, discover grand halls, and feel history come alive. On a clear day, sunlight reveals exquisite details and clever designs in every corner.
Later, follow your guide into Beijing's hutongs to observe local life and traditional culture. You'll visit former siheyuan homes of historical figures, enjoy a drink at a cozy teahouse during a short Peking opera performance, and walk down Dingfu Street, which is lined with historical buildings.

After a 2-hour drive in the morning, you'll arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area. This section is well-preserved and sees fewer crowds. A cable car will take you up and down, so you can enjoy the highlights of the Wall without strenuous climbing. Walk along the historic stone steps, and marvel at the magnificence and achievement of this ancient wonder.
In the afternoon, back to the city, you'll stop at the Olympic Bird's Nest Stadium and Water Cube for photo opportunity and then visit a pearl store.

This morning, explore a lively Beijing market. Stalls are piled high with seasonal produce, and the air is filled with the inviting steam from bun shops. It's a perfect time for trying a classic Beijing breakfast like freshly steamed buns with various fillings or other local snacks.
Next, visit the Temple of Heaven, a Ming-dynasty complex designed for imperial prayers and a masterpiece of Chinese aesthetics. Today, it's a beloved park where locals practice tai chi, dance with swords, or write calligraphy on the pavement in a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere.
After your time in Beijing, your guide will accompany you to the railway station for your high-speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and assist with your hotel check-in.

This morning, visit the Terracotta Warriors, a museum that showcases the extraordinary craftsmanship of ancient China. After this awe-inspiring visit, return to the city to explore Muslim Street, a bustling area famous for its diverse and delicious street food where locals and travelers gather to enjoy the culinary scene.

Today, start your exploration at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the symbol of the region. Ride the Bailong Elevator, which is the world's tallest outdoor elevator since its completion, up to view the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Here, you'll witness the breathtaking "Avatar Hallelujah Mountains" in real life. Take a walk along the mountain paths to enjoy panoramic views.
Next, proceed to Tianzi Mountain (a one-way cable car ride is included), renowned for its vast vistas and majestic peaks. Towering sandstone pillars stand against drifting clouds and lush greenery, forming a surreal scene.
Afterward, venture into the Ten-Mile Gallery (including a round-trip mini-train ride). This picturesque pathway is dotted with ancient trees and tranquil streams, giving a truly serene experience.

Your Shanghai exploration begins at the Bund, where colonial-era Western architecture faces the modern skyline across the river. Next, visit Yuyuan Garden, a Ming-dynasty architectural gem where pavilions, ponds, and rockeries create a living landscape painting. After a stop at a silk shop, continue to Fuxing Park, whose French-inspired gardens offer a peaceful retreat where locals exercise and socialize.
Then explore the Bugaoli (Cité Bourgogne), a unique blend of Chinese and French architectural styles. Here, laundry drying on bamboo poles and residents chatting in courtyards transport you from modern Shanghai to the 1930s. Afterwards, visit a famous food market to sample local delicacies.
