Day 1:Siem Reap Highlights

A fascinating one day pleasant trip in Siem Reap will bring you the most indelible memory in life. As an early riser, you will wish to enjoy the stunning sunrise at the world-renowned Angkor Wat which is so synonymous with Cambodia that it is featured on the national flag. After breakfast, a one-hour scenic drive takes you to the ancient and beautiful Buddhist temple - the Banteay Srei, the special charm of which lies in its delicate, refined carvings. You will also visit some serene local villages en route.

In the afternoon, set out to two intriguing temples - the Ta Prohm Temple with trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings, and the Ta Keo Temple, possibly the first to be built entirely of sandstone by the Khmers. Soaring 22 meters/72 feet to the sky, its imposing sight will leave you amazed. After the trip, you will be dropped off at your hotel and be free for the rest of the day.
