Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival, Rio de Janeiro

  Welcome to the Marvelous City of Rio de Janeiro! Upon arrival, your personal driver will welcome and escort you to your hotel by private car. Check-in and get refreshment from the jet lag.

• Day 2: Rio de Janeiro

  Depart from the hotel after breakfast and drive along the scenic Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon to the foot of Corcovado Hill. From there, you will embark on a small train climbing up the mountain top where a spectacular view of the whole city will sweep into your eyes. Atop the hill, the well-known Christ Statue is standing there, gazing up the city with arms open. After the tour, be sent back to your hotel and enjoy the leisurely time in the afternoon.

• Day 3: Rio de Janeiro

  Standing on a small peninsula at the mouth of Guanabara Bay, the Sugarloaf Mountain which receives over a million tourists every year has become another icon of Rio. This morning, you will board on the glass cable-car to get on the top of the Sugar Loaf to capture the majestic panorama of the city including some famous beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio.

  After the tour, you will be transferred to Sambodrome to enjoy the famous Rio Carnival which has made Rio the Carnival capital of the world. Please be ready for a long night since the parade seldom ends before sunrise, and prepared for the transportation means back to your hotel in advance.

• Day 4: Rio de Janeiro

  It is another day for you to experience the grand Carnival again on your own. The Carnival is filled with passionate revelers, stunning floats, intoxicating music, dance and costume. Just enjoy it!

• Day 5: Rio de Janeiro, Departure

  Today, a private transfer to the airport is provided for catching your home-bound flight. Before that, all the time is yours to calm down from the binge of the last two nights.
