In the late afternoon, head up Doi Suthep Mountain to Wat Pha Lat, a peaceful temple tucked among trees and streams. Continue to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of Northern Thailand's most sacred temples. As dusk falls, listen to monks chanting and take in views over the city.

Continue to Amphawa Floating Market. Walk along the wooden walkways, browse food stalls and handicrafts, and try regional specialties. Take a boat ride to see the local waterside community, then enjoy the lively evening atmosphere before returning to Bangkok.
