Start your Spain journey from Madrid, the fairytale-like capital of Spain. Upon your arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is left for you to relax with the hotel's recreational facilities.

Step into the neighboring Almudena Cathedral for a quick look if time permits. Later, walk a few minutes to the covered gourmet Market of San Miguel, amble between stalls, and savor up inviting aromas of vegetables, fruits, and all kinds of freshly cooked food. An ideal place for lunch!

Spend the rest of the day inside the Prado Museum, about 20 min walking distance from the market. You can find world-famous artworks on display such as La Maja Desnuda (by Francisco Goya), the Garden of Earthly Delights (by Hieronymous Bosch), the Cardinal (by Raphael), and so on.

Escape the bustle and hustle of Madrid and journey back in time to Toledo.

Walking around the old town, you'll touch its rich culture and history that are influenced by Christians, Muslims, and Jews. The highlights include the Toledo Cathedral, the masterpiece of Gothic architecture in all of Spain. Later, step into the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca for its beautiful interior walls and columns decorated with brown and gold flower carvings.

On the way back to Madrid, visit a countryside winery and taste some authentic Spanish vintage wine.

Find your way to the Atocha Railway Station for a bullet train to Barcelona. On arrival, head to your hotel on your own and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Visit the Palace of Catalan Music, featuring breathtaking modernist Catalan design, like stained-glass skylights and mosaic-covered walls. Marvel at the stunning Gothic-style architecture of Barcelona Cathedral, followed by a break at the Plaça Sant Jaume with nice cafes and sandwich shops all around. Antoni Gaudi (1852 - 1926), one of the leading figures in "Catalan modernism", has most of his buildings, full of vibrant curves, in Barcelona and some of them are listed as the UNESCO world heritage site. Visit the unfinished Sagrada Família and gaze at the external facades full of traditional statues as well as its fantastic interior with stained-colored glasses. Explore the Casa Btlló and the Casa Mila to witness the fairytale world created by Gaudi's imagination.
