About This Trip

Begin in Lima before venturing deep into the Amazon to spot exotic wildlife and lush jungle landscape. Itinerary
- Lima
Take the morning flight to Iquitos, which is known as the "capital of the Peruvian Amazon". Head to the port after arriving and take a boat to your lodge (about 3 hours ride). Take a short rest and have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, join a shared group hike to Lake Leoncito, where you'll appreciate the immense variety of flora and fauna around the lodge, such as the massive ceiba trees, seasonal flowers, squirrels, Pygmy marmoset (the smallest monkeys in the world), Tamarin monkey, Howler monkey, etc. After watching the sunset over the forest of mirrors, return to the lodge. At night, take a boat excursion to see alligators, nocturnal birds, and mammals, experiencing the mysterious sounds of the Amazon in the dark.

Early in the morning, join a shared boat excursion to Lake Sapote, a charming jungle lake where you can spot many different birds, such as parrots, jacanas, kingfishers, herons, panguana, partridges, pigeons, cormorants, and horned screamers. Then head to Lake Moena to observe sloths, the night monkey, squirrel, monk, stump, and many other species.
After lunch, have another boat trip to the lakes of Purura and Corriente for catching different kinds of fish, including the famous piranha. At night, take a walk in search of huge frogs, anacondas, and tarantulas.

Today, join a shared boat excursion to the Amazon River to swim with pink and grey dolphins. On the way back to the lodge, you can see the famous Victoria Regia, iguanas, and the bird "hoatzin".
Visit Jorge Caño by boat in the afternoon, looking for different monkeys, especially the howler monkey. Chat with the friendly people of San Juan de Yanayaku village and walk around the village to know how they make a living in the jungle. Drive back to the lodge for dinner. At night, go canoeing to discover the mysterious rainforest life.

Go on a group boat trip to the beautiful Casha Lake to see different species of birds and monkeys. Explore on foot or in canoes based on the level of the river. In the afternoon, take a boat ride back to Iquitos' port and transfer to the airport for a flight to Lima. Upon arrival, meet our personnel and be transferred to the hotel.

Walk into Incan streets to discover the gorgeous Cathedral and the Santo Domingo (Qorikancha). Step into the Cusco Cathedral, where European art blends with Inca cultures in every detail. Followed up with the Santo Domingo Convent, built on the most sacred Inca temple in the 15th century. These stone walls have stood for hundreds of years and survived multiple earthquakes, showcasing the Incas' remarkable skill and advanced civilization.
Then, visit the magnificent Inca ruins in Sacsayhuaman and uncover the archaeological mysteries of the Inca Empire. Continue to the ruins of Qenqo and the Inca military ruins of Puca Pucara, immersing in the natural beauty of the surrounding jungle. Finally, conclude your day at another Inca archaeological site of Tambomachay.

Explore the beautiful Peruvian countryside and the magical Sacred Valley on a join-in guided tour. First, you will visit a bustling indigenous market in the town of Pisac (Pisaq) and enjoy authentic cultural encounters with locals. After a Peruvian dish for lunch, continue the journey to Ollantaytambo, an extraordinary Inca fortress where you can find the amazing rock formation believed to represent the Inca god Wiracocha. Spend some free time in Ollantaytambo, then hop on the train to Aguas Calientes, nestled at the foot of Machu Picchu.

After that, board the bus returning to Aguas Calientes, and take the train back to Poroy Station. Upon arrival, be escorted by your private driver to your hotel in Cusco.

And you'll have the opportunity to step into the Convent of Santo Domingo (or San Francisco Convent) for Santa Rosa Chapel, soaking in its serene courtyard and beautiful frescoes reflecting colonial artistry.
