In this 10-day early sakura trip from February to early March, you will visit the Izu Peninsula in Japan to capture the dramatic early cherry blossoms around Atami and Kawazu, and also combine the classic Japan sightseeing through the Golden Route from Osaka to Tokyo.

After the private vehicle drive with your guide, spend some time strolling through Nara Park among the free-roaming deer, feed them some special rice crackers, and visit the Great Buddha statue in Todai-ji Temple. Then rest in the charming streets of Naramachi, with small artisan shops, cafés, and local snack stores for a glimpse into traditional Japan.

After breakfast, find your way to the railway station for your eastward Shinkansen journey to Mishima (usually takes about 2 hours), and witness the gradually changing scenery from historic cities to volcanic landscapes surrounding Mt. Fuji.

Upon arrival, head to your hotel, which is conveniently located within walking distance of the railway station, and also features a scenic public bath with views of Mt. Fuji when the weather permits. For the rest of the day, guide yourself for more exploration.
