Generally, you should plan half a day to explore the Giza Pyramid Complex. This gives you enough time to visit the three main pyramids and the Great Sphinx at a relaxed pace, with a break to enjoy a coffee while taking in the pyramid views.
If you'd like to see more Egyptian pyramids, you can continue south to Saqqara and Dahshur after Giza. They're not far away (within a 1-hour drive). So, another half day is usually enough to explore these sites before heading back to Cairo.
That said, many of our travelers now prefer a new 2-day schedule: one day dedicated to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and another day for Saqqara and Dahshur, with some free time to enjoy Cairo.

The best time is early morning, right after opening, when temperatures are cooler and crowds are lighter, especially during the summer months. Season-wise, October to April offers the most comfortable weather overall.
-
Yes. The pyramids remain open during Ramadan, and visiting is generally smooth. Opening hours may be slightly shorter (usually closing about one hour earlier than usual), and crowds are often lighter, especially in the mornings. Just note that some restaurants may be closed for lunch, so it's a good idea to carry a few snacks in your bag.

Yes. We've taken hundreds of senior travelers to explore the pyramids, and the overall feedback is, "It's fine for seniors." The main viewing areas are accessible and don't require strenuous walking. Within the Giza Pyramid Complex, there are also hop-on, hop-off shuttle buses running between the pyramids.
However, entering the interior of a pyramid is not recommended for seniors with mobility, knee, or back issues, as the passages are steep and narrow.
If you're looking for a more hassle-free and comfortable experience, a private tour with Odynovo is a great option. We take care of every detail and can arrange premium transfers or even a private golf cart inside the Giza Pyramid Complex, based on your needs.

Yes, the open areas around the pyramids are relatively flat and can be accessed by wheelchairs. The shuttle buses within the Giza Complex are also wheelchair-friendly. However, the interiors of the pyramids are not wheelchair accessible.
