About This Trip
This 10-day tour will show you the treasures of Egypt. Start your journey from Cairo, marvel at the grand pyramids, the Sphinx in Giza and Egyptian Museum. Take a train to Aswan, then enjoy three nights' Nile Cruise to Luxor, visit magnificent temples and ancient sites along the way, such as Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, Valley of Kings, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple. Train back to Cairo, you can spend some free time exploring this attractive city, or you may take an optional tour to Alexandria.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to the land of Pharaohs! Your tour manager will greet you at Cairo International airport and assist in the arrival procedure. When getting to the hotel with an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle, he will help with check-in and double-check the tour itinerary with you for the following days.

Day 2: Cairo
Meet your guide at the hotel and set off to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops), the Pyramid of Pharaoh Khafre, and the Pyramid of pharaoh Menkaure. Nearby, see the well-known Sphinx and the Valley Temple. With an extra payment on-site, you can also visit the Solar Boat in front of the Cheops Pyramid.
After lunch, continue to discover the Sakkara Complex, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, and Memphis - the capital of ancient Egypt in the Old Kingdom and the famous Necropolis.

Day 3: Cairo - Aswan
Check out of the hotel and follow your guide to explore the Egyptian Museum, including the Treasures Room for the child king Tutankhamen and many other fascinating artifacts. You can also visit the Mummies Room for an additional ticket.
Following lunch is a tour of Saladin Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque within it. Then, stop at Coptic Cairo, Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Before getting on the overnight train to Aswan, you will have time to explore Khan El Khalili, take in its exotic airs or search for some souvenirs.

Day 4: Aswan - Nile River Cruise
Disembark the train at Aswan Railway Station, where our representative will take you to board your Nile Cruise before lunch at 11 am.
In the afternoon, get off the boat for a while to visit the world-renowned High Dam, the Philae Temple devoted to the two goddesses Hathor and Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk lying in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt.

Day 5: Nile River Cruise
Have breakfast while sailing to Kom Ombo for a visit to the double temple with half dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the other half to the falcon god Haroeris. Afterward, return to the boat, have lunch on board and continue the cruise to Edfu, where you will explore the well-preserved Horus Temple and then sail on to Esna.

Day 6: Nile River Cruise
Arrive in Luxor this morning and discover the West Bank, including the Valley of Kings – the royal cemetery for 62 pharaohs, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut who is the second female pharaoh in Egypt history, El-Deir, El-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 7: Luxor - Cairo
Disembark the cruise this morning and explore the East Bank of Luxor with your guide, marveling at the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. Afterward, head to Luxor Railway station for the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast for the next morning will be served onboard.

Day 8: Cairo
Arrive in Cairo in the morning and take a private transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax in your hotel or explore the city at your pace.

Day 9: Cairo
It is a free day in Cairo. Or, you may take an optional Alexandria tour, which includes a stop at Qaitbay Citadel based on Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse and visits to Alexandria Library, the Roman Cemetery, and the Catacombs.

Day 10: Cairo - Exit
You will have breakfast at the Cairo hotel and enjoy your free time before your flight. At the appointed time we will transfer to the Cairo International Airport for final departure.
