After a warm welcome from your guide, you'll be accompanied to your hotel. With no scheduled activities today, take time to unwind and adjust to the local pace.

Start the day from the Bund, it is where Shanghai shows off its two faces: old European banks on one side, futuristic towers on the other. Then, explore Shanghai Museum's outstanding collection of Chinese treasures and visit the serene Jade Buddha Temple, a spiritual sanctuary amid the lively city. In Fuxing Park, you'll see locals enjoying their daily routines, from tai chi to dancing, and friendly games.

Afterward, you'll find another side of Shanghai, with a walk in Bugaoli neighborhood. Its traditional stone-gate houses and quiet residential lanes showcase how a city can be both historic and heartwarming. On the way, you can pause for some dim sum in a food market. The last stop of today is Shanghai Tower, from the 118th floor you can enjoy the glory of the city with a panorama view.

Lingering Garden, Suzhou Lingering Garden, Suzhou

After breakfast, travel to Suzhou, a city where you can fully appreciate classical Chinese gardens and the atmosphere of water towns. You'll firstly visit the UNESCO-listed masterpiece - Lingering Garden, your every step here reveals a new scene with carefully arranged pavilions, ponds, ancient trees, and dramatic rock formations.

Later, take a rickshaw through Suzhou's old quarters, passing stone bridges, narrow lanes, and canals that remain part of daily life for locals. Continue with a walk along the historic street Pingjiang Road, you'll find traditional houses and small shops line the water's edge.

This evening, visit the Master of Nets Garden. The lighting is warm and understated, with a calm and elegant atmosphere. By the pond, listening to traditional tunes as light and shadow drift across the water, you can almost feel the quiet joy of ancient Chinese scholars enjoying the moon and melodies.

Today's excursion takes you to Tongli, one of the historic water towns of the Jiangnan region. Unlike Shanghai's modern skyline or Suzhou's celebrated gardens, Tongli rewards a slower look.

The best way to enjoy the charm of the water town is a wooden boat ride rowed by a local boatman. The boat glides through ancient canals, and you'll get a true sense of the whitewashed walls, black-tiled roofs, and small bridges arching over gently flowing streams.

Return to Shanghai later in the day.

This morning, board the river cruise to Yangshuo, the most scenic way of travel. During the cruise, the landscape changes gradually as limestone peaks emerge from fields, villages, and winding waterways. Among the most famous sights is Nine Horses Fresco Hill, a cliff face whose natural markings are said to resemble a group of horses.

Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of day freely to explore West Street and its lively mix of cafés, shops, and local culture.

This morning is spent among the villages and farmland surrounding Yangshuo. You'll travel comfortably by air-conditioned private vehicle, passing through narrow rivers, cultivated fields, and limestone hills rising unexpectedly from the plain. If you're feeling energetic, you can also choose to explore by bicycle at your own pace.

After lunch, board a high-speed train to Chongqing (approximately 5 hours).

Arrive in Chongqing this evening, built among steep hills at the meeting point of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers, it feels like a city in three dimensions, where rooftops of one building are the front doorstep of another.

After breakfast, begin the day at Eling Park. From the top you can get wide views over the city and see where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet. Then, walk along Kuixing Tower and the Shancheng Trail, where you'll experience a lived reality of "mountain city". Stone steps, narrow passages, and residential lanes that adapt to the contours of the landscape rather than resisting them.

Enjoy a short ride on Chongqing's light rail, including the passage through Liziba Station, where the line passes directly through an apartment building as a practical solution designed for the city's dense terrain.

In the afternoon, visit Jiefangbei, the commercial center of Chongqing, where modern shops and local food streets sit side by side. As evening approaches, conclude at Hongya Cave, a riverside wooden complex built in traditional style and illuminated at night, reflecting across the water.

Upon arrival in Xi'an, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the time to rest after the journey and settle into one of China's ancient capitals.

This morning, visit the Terracotta Army. Built to accompany China's first emperor, Qin Shihuang, the site contains thousands of life-sized figures arranged in military formation. Within the museum complex, bronze chariots and related artifacts further illustrate the engineering skill of the Qin dynasty, particularly in metalwork and transportation design.

In the afternoon, take a 4 - 5 hours' high-speed train to Beijing. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and take you to the hotel. The evening is all yours.

Start today at the Tiananmen Square, and enter the Forbidden City from there. Explore the grand palaces with the patient interpretation of your private guide. Courtyard after courtyard, hall after hall, all lined up north to south, you'll feel its traditional principal of order as you walk: every gate, every turn was meant to lead you deeper toward the center of power. Take time to move gradually through the palace grounds, where the scale and repetition of structures offer insight into how imperial life was organized.

In the afternoon, head into Beijing's hutongs, where a rickshaw will take you through narrow lanes lined with gray-brick courtyard homes - siheyuan. Some are still homes: kids' bikes lean against ancient doorways, laundry hangs in the same spots it has for generations.

But what makes the place memorable isn't just the architecture. In the surrounding park, locals gather each morning to exercise, dance, or simply sit with friends. It's a quiet reminder that this historic site still belongs to daily life.

From there, head to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Set among forested hills, this stretch is known for being less crowded and more forgiving on the legs. A cable car takes you up, and from there you can walk along watchtowers and stone paths at your own pace.

You'll return to Beijing in the late afternoon, with time to rest after a full day.
