Day 1: Arrival, Beijing
Nihao China! Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in a private car. The rest of the day is for you to relax on your own, OR activities can be arranged according to your preferences.

Day 2: The Forbidden City and Hutong
Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and start the tour from Tiananmen Square, a country symbol that always witnesses historical and ceremonial events of China. Walking across the Square you will arrive at the imperial Forbidden City, the home of emperors and their households in ancient China for centuries. Listen to the most popular stories of Chinese royal families and take some selfies with the masterpiece of Chinese architecture.
Continue with a leisurely walk in Hutongs this afternoon to see how the common people lived in Old Beijing and immerse yourself in the stories about crickets fighting from a cricket trainer.
A Kung Fu Show combining traditional Chinese martial arts, stories, dancing and acrobatics will be a fabulous visual feast recommended at an additional cost.

Day 3: China Great Wall in Beijing
Start the tour today from the exquisite Temple of Heaven, a nice place to appreciate the elegance of its architecture and join in the locals to experience their healthy lifestyles like playing Tai Chi, dancing with a sword, or practicing Chinese calligraphy on the ground with ink and a huge brush.
Drive about 2 hours to the suburb of Beijing to visit the magnificent Great Wall at Mutianyu. Walk on the ancient ramparts, admiring the unbelievable constructions snaking across the mountains and taking in the splendid landscape.

Day 4: Summer Palace Beijing and a bullet train to Xi'an
Before heading to Xi'an by high-speed train, you will be escorted to visit Summer Palace, which was an imperial garden with lakes, man-made hills and a number of architectures of different styles. Have a pleasant boat riding on Kunming Lake if the weather permits.
Arrive in Xi'an after 5.5 hours, be met and transferred to your hotel by your private guide and driver.

Day 5: Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an
The Terracotta Warriors make Xi'an famous around the world. Today, you will encounter this legendary army, which has guarded the first emperor of China, Qin Shihuang, since 210 B.C. Though had been buried underground for more than 2,200 years, these lifelike soldiers seem to tell you different stories through their vivid facial expressions.
Return to the city in the afternoon and absorb the red-lantern-lined city streets from the Ancient City Wall. Having a leisurely walk or cycling on the city wall both are good chances to feel the ancient charm of the city.

Day 6: Xi’an to Shanghai by flight
After breakfast, wander through Muslim Quarter and absorb its sights, smells and sounds. Shaanxi History Museum will be the next stop, where thousands of precious relics waiting for you to discover.
Fly to Shanghai in the afternoon. Upon arrival, be met and escorted to your hotel.

Day 7: Highlights in Shanghai
Your discovery in Shanghai includes Yu Garden - a classical garden that fully displays the traditional design of Chinese architecture; Yuyuan Market - a bustling bazaar near the Yu Garden where you can try local snacks and explore traditional Chinese handicrafts and artworks; the well-known Bund; the Former French Concession; and Shanghai Tower - the tallest building in China at present, and its observation deck offers an amazing view of the Huangpu River.
If you want to enjoy more at night, an amazing Acrobatic Show is optional and reservation is needed.
