Day 1: Arrival, Beijing
Please don't worry about being in an unfamiliar country like China. Upon arrival, your private tour guide will warmly welcome you and put you at ease with professional service.
It usually takes about an hour from the airport to your downtown hotel. On the way, your guide will give you a brief introduction to Beijing. After settling down at the hotel, enjoy some free time to recover from jet lag.

Day 2: The Forbidden City & Hutongs
Departing from the hotel as planned, your guide will take you to see the Tian'anmen Square with some important buildings, like the Great Hall of the People, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, etc. sitting on the edges. Walk across the square you will arrive at the magnificent Forbidden City, the home of Ming and Qing emperors for centuries. After that, hop on a rickshaw for a Hutong Tour through the maze-like small alleys formed by neighboring quadrangle dwellings, to get a feel of the old Beijing lifestyle. Listen to the stories about crickets fighting from a cricket trainer in Hutong.

Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall & Simatai Great Wall
No doubt that the Great Wall is a must-see in Beijing. To provide you with a better experience, we recommend the less crowded Great Wall at Mutianyu. This part of China's iconic landmark ranking top among all the Great Wall sections due to its picturesque scenery and well-restored architecture. A cable car up will provide you a different perspective to spot the Great Wall and, at the same time, save you a lot of energy so you can do more hiking on it. Later on, descend still by cable car or take an exciting toboggan down.
In the afternoon, a 2-hour drive will take you to the Gubei Water Town. Check into your hotel and have some rest. At the appointed time in the evening, meet your guide and take a cable car up to the Simatai Great Wall to enjoy the fascinating night views.

Day 4: Gubei Water Town & Temple of Heaven
Regarded as 'Wuzhen in Beijing', Gubei Water Town is a photographer's paradise for its picturesque mountains, waters, ancient villages and so forth. While strolling through this artificial old town, you can also try a Chinese cultural experience such as kite making, tie-dyeing, or Buddhist text tracing, to get your own unique souvenir. Transfer back to Beijing city proper and visit the elegant Temple of Heaven, where the feudal emperor offered sacrifice to Heaven and pray for good harvest annually. Today, it is also a good place to see how the local people enrich their daily lives after retirement.
This evening, treat yourself to a big dinner with the famous Peking roast duck in a local restaurant.

Day 5: Bullet Train to Xi'an
Be transferred to the railway station for your high-speed train journey to Xi'an. On arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for a refreshment break.
Take a relaxing stroll around the narrow bazaar streets in Muslim Quarter, to explore Muslim culture and try different local snacks. Also, have a leisure walking or cycling on the 600-year-old City Wall to feel the ancient charm of the city.

Day 6: Terracotta Warriors & Cooking with Locals
Today's highlight is the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors. You have enough time to marvel at the grand array of thousands of clay soldiers, horses, and chariots in life-size. Each statue of the soldiers is unique for they're all from the original image of what Qin people used to be like, and these lifelike soldiers seem to tell you different stories through their vivid facial expressions. You will have the opportunity to make a miniature terracotta soldier or horse on your own under the instruction of a local potter.
Cooking with a local family in Xi'an surely makes your trip unforgettable. This afternoon, have a cooperative cooking with a family and make the most of the chance to learn how to make dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, and some other homely dishes. Enjoy what you've cooked as dinner!

Day 7: Bullet Train to Chengdu
Board a morning train to Chengdu. After arrival, visit Wangjianglou Park, where you can ascend the Chongli Pavilion to get a better view of the surrounding area, try a cup of tea and see locals playing Chinese Mahjong.

Day 8: Chengdu Panda Base & Sanxingdui
Chengdu is the hometown of Giant Pandas. When you are in the city, a place you can't miss is the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. From 8 am to 9 am is the most active time for pandas, so remember to start the tour a little early this morning. Continue to be surprised by the Sanxingdui Museum with numerous historical treasures including bronzes, jade and stone ware, pottery and gold ware dating back to 2000B.C. One of the impressive aspects is the collection of weird, alien-like masks and head sculptures.

Day 9: Fly to Guilin, Reed Flute Cave
Be escorted to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in the city proper. On the way, have a visit to the famed karst site Reed Flute Cave, an amazing underground palace with a forest of stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars in neon lights.

Day 10: Li River Cruise
The Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is definitely the highlight of any tour to Guilin. In the morning, board a boat at the Zhujiang pier and take a 4-hour downstream cruise to Yangshuo county. Be attracted by the towering karst peaks, clear water, flourishing bamboo groves, and other breathtaking sceneries that have inspired poets and painters for centuries.
After disembarkation, be transferred to your hotel in the countryside. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the picturesque Yangshuo.

Day 11: Free Day in Yangshuo
People say: "Guilin landscape tops those elsewhere, and Yangshuo landscape tops that of Guilin". The idyllic countryside of Yangshuo is the reason why so many visitors come here. A free day is left so you have sufficient time to discover the charm of Yangshuo on your own. You can immerse yourself in the peaceful countryside adorned with beautiful rice paddies, karst mountains and small villages by bicycle, or delve into the charming Yulong River by bamboo rafting or kayaking. Fully enjoy the relaxed time with your family!

Day 12: Fly to Taipei
Have some leisure time this morning until be transferred back to Guilin and take your flight to reach Taipei, the capital city and special municipality of Taiwan. Once arrival, be met and taken to your hotel for checking in.

Day 13: Taipei Highlights Tour
Your Taipei discovery commences at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, one of the prominent landmarks of Taiwan. Wander around to appreciate the stunning architecture and flowered gardens, and get a better understanding of Taiwanese history. Proceed to National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine, the one commemorating those who died in the resistance against the Japanese invasion and the civil war in the early 20th century. Then be pleasantly surprised by the superb collection of historical art treasures at the National Palace Museum. Take a stroll around the Baoan Temple Garden, a beautifully constructed complex where you can watch people praying or asking the Gods for advice. The rest of the time is yours to explore. To taste lip-smacking local snacks at a bustling night market is highly recommended.

Day 14: Free Day in Taipei
Today is left for you to discover more of the city on your own. You may go to northern Taiwan for the natural and cultural wonders. Yehliu Geopark is a premier destination where you'll be amazed by various unique rock formations like the famous Queen's Head. Jiufen, the captivating gold rush town in the 19th century located on the hillside, full of small shops offering crafts and local snacks is also a good place to explore.
