Day 1 Arrival, Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! Soon as you arrive at the Cairo Airport, an airport representative will meet and greet you, then escort you to your private vehicle for your hotel in Cairo. Relax at leisure in your hotel for the rest of the day before your main tour.

After meeting your private driver and guide, you will have a full day to explore the mysterious Pyramids, the mighty Sphinx, Saqqara, and ancient Memphis city. These are some of the most iconic images of Egypt that should not be missed.

Day 3 Cairo
Today you will visit the Egyptian Museum, where a galaxy of Pharaonic antiquities is housed. Continue on to Old Cairo to visit the beautiful Mohammed Ali Mosque. Later, visit the Citadel of Salah El Din which stands on top of the hill overlooking the capital city. After that, pay a visit to the Hanging Church before exploring the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is one of the best places in Egypt to experience local lives.

Day 4 Cairo - Aswan, Start Nile Cruise
Early morning you will take a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, embark on your pre-booked Nile Cruise. Enjoy lunch on board before taking an excursion to the famous Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the beautiful Botanical Gardens on Elephantine Island.

Day 5 Nile River Cruise
Today you will have a land excursion to visit the Sobek Temple (Kom Ombo Temple) at Kom Ombo, a twin temple that is devoted to Sobek, the god of Fertility and Haroeris, the falcon god. Continue sailing to Edfu to visit the Temple of Edfu, which is regarded as one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.

Day 6 Nile River Cruise
Today the cruise will sail to Luxor. It is a must-see city in Upper Egypt, which is famous for its vast temples, ancient royal tombs, and river scenery. You will explore some of the most incredible sites in the West Bank of Luxor, including Valley of the Kings, where ancient Pharaohs' tombs can be visited. Later, stop by the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements.

Day 7 Luxor - Cairo
After breakfast disembark from your cruise to visit the East Bank of Luxor. First, you will visit the Karnak Temple Complex. It was built over 2,000 years and is still well kept till these days. Take a visit to the Luxor Temple, which contains some of the most beautiful examples of Egyptian statuary. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport with a private vehicle for the flight back to Cairo. Head to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8 Cairo - Istanbul

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Istanbul, a metropolitan city of Turkey. Upon arrival, clear customs and claim luggage, you will be met by your driver and then transferred to your hotel in Istanbul.

Day 9 Istanbul
After meeting your private guide today, you will visit some of the most important cultural and historical sites in Istanbul. Start with a visit to the Topkapi Palace, which was also the home to the Ottoman sultans for about four centuries. Marvel at the splendid jewels, artifacts, and weapons among some of its collections inside of the palace. Later, go along the maze of narrow courtyards, passages in the Imperial Harem. Step back and explore the Hagia Sophia, a museum with both Islamic and Christian influences, which was said to have changed the history of architecture. Next, visit the Blue Mosque, which has gained its name through blue tiles surrounding the walls of interior design. After that, visit the Basilica Cistern, learning its function in ancient times. Last, you will visit the ancient Hippodrome, Egyptian Obelisk, and Serpentine Column before returning back to the hotel.

Day 10 Istanbul - Kayseri - Cappadocia
Fly to Kayseri in the early morning. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Cappadocia with a private vehicle, to discover some of the most amazing landscape on the planet. The tour starts with Devrent Valley and Pasabag Valley, where you could see an array of volcanic formations. The fairy chimneys, mushroom-shaped natural obelisks are carved by wind and eroded by air. Later drive to Avanos to take a chance to make your own pottery in a workshop. Afterward, admire some finest cave churches of the Goreme Open Air Museum. Continue to the Uchisar Castle located at the highest point of Cappadocia, to enjoy a fabulous panoramic view over this region. The tour will be concluded with a visit to the Pigeon Valley.

Day 11 Cappadocia
Today, you will visit the Ortahisar, a natural citadel carved in rocks with raw beauty and historical feature. Descend into the Kaymakli Underground City, caved in the 7th century by Christians fleeing persecution. Continue to Cavusin Valley to find the troglodyte settlement; you could even find the breathtaking rock-cut church with beautiful frescoes at the Cavusin Kilise. After lunch drop by the Red Valley and the Wine House, renowned for its fertile vineyards benefit from the mineral-laden volcanic soil in this region.

Day 12 Cappadocia - Kayseri - Izmir - Kusadasi
Today you will be transferred to the airport in Kayseri for the flight to Izmir ( the flight stops over in Istanbul). Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to the Agora, a marketplace built in the Roman Era, and turned into Open Air Museum nowadays. Later drop by the Kizlaragasi Hani, originally an inn for trade caravan from the East carrying silk and spices that was gorgeous in its heyday. After the tour, you will be escorted to Kusadasi, a peaceful town sitting on Turkey's Aegean coast.

Day 13 Kusadasi - Ephesus - Kusadasi
After breakfast enjoy a full day tour to the ancient City of Ephesus. Here you will see some well maintained Roman ancient relics, including the Arcadian Way, the Antique Theater, the Roman Baths, and the Celsus Library. After that, you will marvel at the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, which was once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Shrine of Virgin Mary and Basilica of St. John. After the tour, drive back to Kusadasi for overnight.

My wife, son and I have taken a private tour of Egypt and Turkey organised by Odynovo. It was very well organised taking care of every little aspect of our stay. It was a private tour with guide, driver, car and a person to receive and drop us off at the airports. There were a number of internal flights in our itinerary. And all of them were booked for the correct times of the day to maximise our stay and see the places.At all the airports, there would be a person waiting to receive us and help with our luggage or make sure that we have checked in our baggage, collected boarding cards and went through security to the gates. The phone numbers of these contacts were provided to us well in advance.Driver would hand us wet wipes and bottles of water as soon as we arrive at the car or when we are about to go on a walking tour.Guides are very knowledgeable of the area, history, local shopping, restaurants etc and their explanation was quite good for a non English speaking country guide! We didn’t have any problem understanding and adjusting to their accent. This being a private tour, the guides were happy to alter the program slightly based on weather conditions, our energy levels and interests.The food at the local restaurants (where included as part of the trip) was authentic local cuisine, delicious and the quantity was quite adequate.The facilities in the hotels were nice for the price we paid. It was our decision to go for a 4 star accommodation.The travel agent, Mason Li, who organised our trip was exceptional. Right from the first time I contacted Odynovo, he would answer my emails and calls anytime of the day…sometimes even late in the night. He was so prompt and courteous with his communication. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about engaging a travel company in China to organise my tour in Egypt and Turkey (which is half way across the world from China!). But I was simply impressed with Odynovo’s business network and infrastructure. First I asked for the price for two persons in 5 and 4 star accommodations. I received the quote within a few days with all options and full itinerary. Emails were going back and forth for the clarifications during that time. Later, when I decided to go with 4 star accommodation and add one more person (my son), I received the revised quote within a few hours with full breakdown of the costs. That is impressive and display of a mature company with sound processes and good network! I have also contacted some of the travel agencies in Egypt and Turkey but they were not ready with proper quote for weeks and by then I have already finalised the deal and paid advance to Odynovo. There were no extra charges except for the optional tours we have taken at a couple of places.Mason was in touch with us during the trip to see if everything was going OK. Thanks Mason for your professionalism and care. Because of the services of people like you, we are able to go and visit the exciting places so easily without any hassles and happily carrying memories of our lives. Thanks Odynovo!

We just returned from a trip to Egypt; our program coordinator Monica was absolutely amazing! We were a group of 6 young travelers and Monica was able to assist with with cramming in about a weeks worth of tours into 3 long days. She was so patient and customized the whole program to meet our very specific needs. I would 100% recommend booking with Odynovo. Thank you Monica and her team for helping us arrange the trip of a life time!

The guides Mohamed Amin and Mr Mamdouh were excellent. Their English was good and they were always prompt. Mamdouh's English was especially good and he really tried to fit in all the activities I had selected for each day and there were a lot.
We loved both the Steigenberger and the Salima Nile Cruise ship. The Steigenberger was a great hotel since the food was wonderful and the location good for the activities that one will do in Cairo overall. We could walk out into the city when we had time with no problems. We have restricted diets (vegetarian and vegan) and the Steigenberger breakfast was great for us. It was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. The service was great as well. The Salima's staff was delightful building incredible towel creations in our rooms, meeting our every need such as daily espresso, and the chef preparing special vegan dishes for us at every meal. We felt very spoiled!!!
My daughters enjoyed the cruise portion the best since it got us out of the craziness that is Cairo, but that is all part of the trip. We loved the fact that we got to see the the pyramids (going inside the Grand Pyramid), mosques, temples, and the botanical garden. It was a great mix of all the wonderful things Egypt has to offer.
Booking was easy and the trip met all my expectations. The guide Allison made all the changes I requested.

We traveled through Egypt and Odynovo picked us up inside all airports and had great English speaking guides who picked us up and filled us with information. Laura Li was very patient with coordinating 3 families to join together and move around the country.

Have just returned from an archeological tour of Egypt with the Archeological Paths company. I decided to replace some of that company's itinerary (two days) with alternative trips organised by Odynovo. Also, I used the checkout day to organise another trip In order to return to a site previously visited. I have studied Egyptian archeology and written language for decades and I cannot speak highly enough of the co-ordination by Leo from head office. He was prompt and accurate in responses to email questions and made bookings in a timely manner. My dealings with head office were flawless. The quality of guide and driver in Cairo exceeded my expectations. The guide, Mohamed was an outstanding representative for the company in Egypt. His good humour, focus and in depth knowledge of ancient Egyptian culture/ history made the day visits to Giza, the Cairo Museum and a return to the Saqqara necropolis outstanding educational experiences. Although I knew much about what I could see, Mohamed could always build on my knowledge.He paced the days very well, allowing me to see what I wanted without a rush. I was collected on time for every trip and delivered to the day's destination efficiently - given the chaotic nature of Egyptian traffic, this in itself spoke volumes for the time management skills of the Cairo staff. Both drivers exuded relaxed confidence and never gave me a single moment of concern. Because I had arranged a one-on-one tour for each of my days, I got a great deal out of every day with Odynovo - and without a doubt, much more that I would have gotten had I stayed with the Archeological Paths itinerary. I am considering a return to Egypt and will certainly use Odynovo to organise a tour that will give me one-on-one experiences of the things I would want to see rather than being a member of a larger tour group. The only regret I have is that I did not have more spare time where I could use the services of Odynovo. Still, what I got from this company was exceptional value for money and trips that were "the icing on the cake".
