Itinerary

Upon arriving in Yogyakarta, your local guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax, explore the surroundings, or unwind before the exciting days ahead.

Your Yogyakarta tour starts by visiting Kraton Palace, the residence of the Sultan, where you can see traditional Javanese palace guards. Proceed to the nearby Taman Sari Water Castle, originally built for the royal family to bathe and for the Sultan's potential wife selection. Continue to Kota Gede, the historic silver-making center, exploring workshops and learning traditional techniques.

The journey then takes you to the majestic 9th-century Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The world's largest Buddhist monument features intricate stone carvings, tiered terraces, and a majestic stupa. On your way back, stop off at Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple, both aligned with Borobudur.

After that, fly to Denpasar, Bali's capital. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Ubud.

Relax in the morning before heading to Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali's most iconic landmarks. Perched dramatically on a cliff 70 metres above the sea, this 11th-century sea temple offers breathtaking coastal views, especially at sunset.

There is also the chance to watch the Kecak Fire Dance nearby. This traditional Balinese performance features dancers in checked cloths, chanting rhythmic sounds as they act out scenes from the story of the monkey god Hanuman.
