Upon arriving in Yogyakarta, your local guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax, explore the surroundings, or unwind before the exciting days ahead.

Your Yogyakarta tour starts by visiting Kraton Palace, the residence of the Sultan, where you can see traditional Javanese palace guards. Proceed to the nearby Taman Sari Water Castle, originally built for the royal family to bathe and for the Sultan's potential wife selection. Continue to Kota Gede, the historic silver-making center, exploring workshops and learning traditional techniques.

The journey then takes you to the majestic 9th-century Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The world's largest Buddhist monument features intricate stone carvings, tiered terraces, and a majestic stupa. On your way back, stop off at Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple, both aligned with Borobudur.

Dive into Javanese culture with a hands-on batik workshop, where you will learn this centuries-old Indonesian art form by creating your own patterned piece to take home. After a warm welcome and an introduction to the rich history and symbolism of batik, you will use traditional tools to craft your unique design, a meaningful cultural souvenir.

As night falls, consider exploring Yogyakarta like a local on a street food tour. Travel by public transport to sample iconic dishes like Nasi Campur and Bakmie, and soak in the lively atmosphere of the city as locals fill the streets with games, laughter, and tradition.

Today brings an insightful visit to the UNESCO-inscribed Prambanan Temple. Built in the 9th century, the Hindu temple complex showcases towering spires, intricate stone carvings, and striking architecture, marking the return of Hinduism to Java after centuries of Buddhism.

After that, fly to Denpasar, Bali's capital. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Ubud.

Explore Ubud's cultural and natural wonders. Start in Mas Village, renowned for its exquisite woodcarvings. Then, journey to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), an 11th-century UNESCO World Heritage site filled with ancient carvings.

Next, visit Tirta Empul, one of Bali's most revered water temples, where the holy spring waters are believed to purify both body and soul. Afterward, head to Kintamani for spectacular views of Danau Batur (Batur Lake), nestled within a volcanic caldera with Mount Batur standing tall in the background.

Conclude your tour at Besakih Temple, Bali's "Mother Temple," perched on the slopes of Mount Agung. This historic site miraculously survived the 1963 eruption and remains a powerful symbol of Bali's resilience.

Spend one more day exploring Ubud's landscapes and culture. Kick off with a serene hike along Campuhan Ridge, enjoying stunning views of rolling hills and rice fields. Afterward, enjoy a refreshing coconut drink and wander through the mystical Ubud Monkey Forest, home to playful monkeys and sacred temples.

Cool off with a swim at Tegenungan Waterfall, famous for its crystal-clear waters believed to have purifying properties. Finish your day at the River Club, one of Bali's most scenic spots, with time to relax by the pool and take photos on the iconic Bali swing, surrounded by jungle and waterfall views.

Relax in the morning before heading to Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali's most iconic landmarks. Perched dramatically on a cliff 70 metres above the sea, this 11th-century sea temple offers breathtaking coastal views, especially at sunset.

There is also the chance to watch the Kecak Fire Dance nearby. This traditional Balinese performance features dancers in checked cloths, chanting rhythmic sounds as they act out scenes from the story of the monkey god Hanuman.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Denpasar airport for your flight to your next destination, marking the end of your journey through Java and Bali.
