Day 1 - 3 Cairo
On the first day of your arrival, have a rest after checking into your hotel. For convenience, consider staying in Downtown Cairo or Zamalek. Both are ideal for a relaxing walk around the neighborhood.
For the next two days, you can arrange a day to get close to ancient Egypt: exploring the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. And another day for taking a Cairo city tour, strolling through old Cairo, and visiting the Citadel of Saladin, the Hanging Church, and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
Day 4 - 7 Nile River Cruise Tour
Fly to Aswan, a lush oasis city to start the next chapter of your journey. Visit the enchanting island of Philae, home to the delicate Temple of Isis, once submerged beneath the Nile. Also, see the impressive yet unfinished Obelisk before boarding your northward cruise.
