Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok

  Arrive in Thailand's exciting capital, where ancient temples meet bustling city life. Your local guide will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax or take a walk to start discovering the city.

• Day 2: Bangkok, Grand Palace & Long-Tail Boat Tour

  In the early morning, step into the Grand Palace, a stunning display of Thai royal heritage filled with golden rooftops, colorful murals, and graceful courtyards. Inside the complex is Wat Phra Kaew, where the sacred Emerald Buddha is deeply revered across the country.

  Wander through a lively market full of fresh flowers, tropical fruits, and the everyday rhythm of local life. Drift along the canals in a long-tail boat, passing quiet neighborhoods and wooden stilt houses. As you cruise, enjoy the beautiful view of Wat Arun with its elegant spires rising above the river.

  Finish the day at Wat Pho, home to the massive golden Reclining Buddha resting in peaceful silence. This historic temple is also considered the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.

• Day 3: Bangkok, Railway Market & Floating Market

  Leave the city behind and head into the countryside to visit the Maeklong Railway Market. Here, local vendors sell everything from fruits to seafood right beside active train tracks. Watch as they quickly move their stalls when the train arrives.

  Continue to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Ride a wooden boat through the canals and see sellers paddling past with fresh produce, snacks and handmade items. It's a fun way to experience local life on the water.

• Day 4: Bangkok - Siem Reap, Tonle Sap Lake

  Take a short flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia, the gateway to the ancient Khmer temples.

  In the afternoon, visit Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and a vital lifeline for millions of Cambodians. Hop on a boat to explore the floating villages, see how local people live with the rhythms of the lake.

• Day 5: Siem Reap, Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat

  Start the day at Angkor Thom, once the heart of the Khmer Empire. Walk through its ancient stone gate and explore Bayon Temple, where giant faces carved into the towers seem to smile down from above. Continue to the Elephant Terrace and other nearby ruins that were part of a powerful royal city long ago.

  Later, visit Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Its towering walls, detailed carvings, and peaceful surroundings create a magical atmosphere that's hard to forget. If the weather is good, wrap up your day with a beautiful sunset view from a nearby hill or temple, watching the sky turn gold above the jungle and ruins.

• Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City Highlights and Cu Chi Tunnels

  Head out to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible network of underground passages used during the Vietnam War. Crawl through a section of the tunnels and hear stories of how people lived, worked, and fought in these tight, hidden spaces.

  Back in the city, visit key landmarks including the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, and Ben Thanh Market, a lively spot for souvenirs and local snacks. Stop by the elegant Central Post Office, built during the French colonial era, and take a stroll along Dong Khoi Street, once the main road of old Saigon.

• Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang - Hoi An

  Step aboard a traditional bamboo basket boat and drift gently through the shady nipa palm forest. Try your hand at crab fishing and learn the clever, time-honored methods local fishermen use to catch their daily meals.

  Around midday, head to Coconut Village for a hands-on cooking class. With guidance from a local chef, prepare delicious Vietnamese dishes and then enjoy the tasty results of your efforts.
